a seat at the table

A production centered around the water lily pond in the heart of Bern, Switzerland. As part of the set design for the play "A Seat at the Table" for 2022 and 2023, I had the privilege of using the unique backdrop of the rose garden. The romantic and picturesque backdrop was characterised by clear, high-contrast shapes that shone in a bright yellow. Yellow symbolises light, sun and life and has positive associations. Now the question is: who gets to sit at the table?
