The Ocean is closed on Mondays

For this project, I was able to create the exhibition design for the visual artist Laura Gauch. The short film "The Ocean is Closed on Mondays" is a work that deals with losses through assimilation and the challenges of immigration in the Latin/Hispanic community. Visitors are transported into a familiar living room with simple means. The combination of artworks and the artist's personal belongings creates an atmosphere of familiarity. On the side table is a book in which personal opinions on the topics covered can be recorded.
